Andrew and Tristan Tate face US hearing on UK extradition bid

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan appeared in federal court in Miami on Monday as US extradition proceedings began over expanded criminal charges from the United Kingdom. UK prosecutors said Andrew Tate now faces 42 charges, including seven further counts of rape, trafficking-related counts, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and additional offenses tied to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate faces 17 charges, including two counts of rape, sexual assault and trafficking-related counts. The alleged offenses span July 2010 to August 2017. The brothers, who deny the allegations, have been based in Romania, where they are also under criminal investigation.
