In Malang, Prabowo warns officials against stealing public money

President Prabowo Subianto warned government officials, the bureaucracy and BUMN not to pursue policies that harm the public or steal state money. At the Panen Raya Dalam Rangka TNI Mendukung Ketahanan Nasional event in Malang, Jawa Timur, on Friday (17/7), Prabowo said he would not tolerate officials who are trusted and paid by the people but act against the public interest. He also said he would not hesitate to act against such violations. In the same speech, Prabowo called on all parts of government to stay united and rely on their own strength. He said Indonesia cannot allow its wealth to be taken while the people remain poor.
