Internship doctor dies after fall from 18th floor of Kalibata apartment

An internship doctor identified as SZM died after falling from the 18th floor of an apartment in the Kalibata area, Pancoran, South Jakarta, on Sunday (26/7). Pancoran Police Chief Kompol Mansur said the victim lived with his mother. Before the incident, his mother had invited him to go to a mall, but he refused and stayed in the apartment unit. After the mother left, the door was said to be locked from the inside and the victim fell from a window. Police received the report at around 14.10 WIB, then processed the scene and evacuated the body to RS Polri Kramat Jati before it was taken to Makassar. Investigators are still examining the cause of death and have not found evidence of any specific motive, including any link to work pressure.
