Government schedules Hotel Sultan eviction for June 18
PPKGBK is deploying 300 joint personnel and giving PT Indobuildco six months to collect items removed from the site.
The government has scheduled the eviction of Block 15 GBK, the former Hotel Sultan in Senayan, Jakarta, for Thursday, June 18, 2026. Pusat Pengelolaan Komplek Gelora Bung Karno is preparing 300 joint personnel from PPKGBK, the State Secretariat Ministry, the legal team, and Kantor Jasa Penilai Publik, with technical support from Telkom and PLN. Hendry Arisandi, head of the Block 15 GBK transition team, said items owned by PT Indobuildco that are not attached to the land and buildings will be inventoried, documented, moved and then stored. PPKGBK has given Indobuildco up to six months to collect those items. As preparations continue, former Supreme Court chief justice Bagir Manan questioned the appropriateness of an immediate enforcement ruling in a dispute he said is complex and has not shown an urgent public interest.
