Government prepares PFII in Jakarta and Bali after law passes

Both sites will use Danantara assets, with the first location chosen based on operational readiness.

The government is preparing the Indonesia International Financial Center (PFII) in two locations, Jakarta and Bali, after the DPR passed the PFII law. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the building for the Jakarta site is already available and comes from the assets of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara). In Bali, the land prepared is also owned by Danantara, although the exact location has not been detailed. Airlangga said the government will choose the most ready location so PFII can start operating soon. Investment Minister and Danantara CEO Rosan P. Roeslani said the accelerated formation of PFII in Bali is a follow-up to the law’s passage. Earlier, Airlangga and Rosan also inspected a number of potential sites in Bali.
