Febrie Adriansyah questioned 11 hours in Asabri case, not held

Investigators asked 18 questions Friday in a probe limited to PT Asabri, not PT Krakatau Steel or PLN PLTU coal procurement.

The Attorney General's Office questioned former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah as a suspect in a suspected corruption and money-laundering case involving PT Asabri on Friday, July 17. The examination at Gedung Bundar ran from about 09.00 to 20.00 WIB. Febrie's lawyer, Hotman Paris, said investigators posed 18 questions and all were answered. After the questioning, Febrie was not detained. Attorney General's Office legal information center head Anang Supriatna said the detention decision was up to investigators. The AGO also said Febrie's current suspect status is tied to the Asabri case, while two other investigation orders involving PT Krakatau Steel and coal procurement for PLTU for PLN remain at the general investigation stage.
