Attorney General's Office awaits police raid results in coal-Asabri bribery case

The Attorney General's Office said the search and seizure carried out by Kortastipidkor Polri together with Polda Metro Jaya in the investigation of alleged corruption, TPPU, and bribery linked to the coal case through Asabri falls fully under police authority. Anang Supriatna, head of the office's legal information center, said the agency is waiting for the results of the investigation, including an explanation of the objects searched, the evidence seized, and the parties tied to the case. The Attorney General's Office also asked the public not to rush to conclusions or connect the ongoing legal process with any particular person or institution. According to Anang, every law enforcement process must still refer to valid evidence, the applicable legal procedure, and the presumption of innocence.
