PDIP denies Fortuner link between Tiyo Ardianto and Andika

PDIP denied allegations by Aliansi BEM Bersatu that the Toyota Fortuner used by former UGM BEM chairman Tiyo Ardianto was linked to a party network and to Andika Perkasa’s in-laws. PDIP spokesman Guntur Romli called the chain of links from car ownership to alleged party interference forced speculation. He also said Siti Nuraeni and Setyo Sularso were neither party cadres nor PDIP executives. Separately, Tiyo said the vehicle was borrowed from his brother. He said he started using it to travel after he felt unsafe and experienced threats. Attention to the vehicle grew after Tiyo found a tracking device in it while taking part in a protest in Gejayan, Sleman, on 13 June 2026.
