Singapore bus arrival system failed for 95 minutes, then recovered

What's new: MyTransport.SG restored ETA displays by 7:50 a.m., while buses kept running normally during the outage.

Singapore’s bus arrival timing system went down for about 95 minutes early July 14, leaving commuters without ETA information on the MyTransport.SG app before service returned at 7:50 a.m. The Land Transport Authority flagged the issue at 6:15 a.m. and said bus services continued operating normally. The Straits Times found no bus timings listed at 6:40 a.m., though the Singabus app still showed regular arrival estimates. The disruption is the latest in a series of problems affecting the ETA system after a four-hour outage on June 12 and earlier failures in January and April tied to software and cable damage.
