Tiyo Ardianto Faces 2 Complaints Over Alleged Insult to Prabowo
He has not received a police summons and says he will cooperate if questioned.
Former UGM BEM chair Tiyo Ardianto responded with satire to two police complaints over alleged insults to President Prabowo Subianto. Tiyo was reported by lawyer Firdaus Oiwobo to Polres Metro Tangerang Selatan and was also complained about by the Garda Prabowo group to Bareskrim Polri. When met at UC UGM, Sleman, on Thursday (25/6), Tiyo said the reports were a way for certain parties to show loyalty to the president. He said he was not intimidated and had not received a summons for questioning. If summoned, he said he would cooperate. Tiyo also said he remained focused on his role as a critical citizen and on meeting young people in various regions to raise political awareness.
