Trump, Netanyahu and Zelenskiy to attend Lindsey Graham funeral
What's next: Graham will lie in honor at the Capitol before burial in South Carolina as the Senate weighs Russia sanctions he backed.
President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy are expected at Tuesday's funeral for Sen. Lindsey Graham in Washington, underscoring the South Carolina Republican's influence on U.S. foreign policy. Graham died July 11 at 71 after what preliminary findings described as a likely aortic tear. His remains will be honored at the U.S. Capitol before a service at Washington National Cathedral, where Trump is due to speak. Vice President JD Vance is also expected to deliver remarks. Graham, a forceful advocate for Israel and Ukraine, had visited Kyiv 10 times since Russia's 2022 invasion and met Zelenskiy there a day before his death.
