Kemenag opens 14,080 UKKJ slots for madrasah teachers in 2026
2,319 openings are set for Ahli Muda and 11,761 for Ahli Madya, with the test scheduled for October 2026.
Kementerian Agama is preparing 14,080 slots for the 2026 Uji Kompetensi Kenaikan Jenjang (UKKJ) for Guru Madrasah. The breakdown is 2,319 slots for the Ahli Muda level and 11,761 for Ahli Madya. The UKKJ is scheduled for October 2026 after verification, data synchronization and completion of participants' paperwork. Direktor GTK Madrasah Fesal Musaad said the large quota is intended to accelerate the career development of Guru Madrasah through a competency-based system. Kasubdit Bina GTK Madrasah Imam Bukhori said a coordination meeting in Jakarta finalized technical aspects, from aligning regulations and validating participant data to setting the schedule. The UKKJ follows PermenPANRB Nomor 1 Tahun 2023, PermenPANRB Nomor 21 Tahun 2024 and Keputusan Menteri Agama Nomor 694 Tahun 2025.
