Mendiktisaintek brought data on campus readiness for research and studies so government programs can rest on valid data.
President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday (27/7) to discuss strategic higher-education issues with several ministers and agency heads. Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto arrived at about 12:50 WIB and said the discussion covered progress on strategic programs at campuses. He prepared data on universities' readiness to support the government through studies and research, in line with the president's wish that policy be backed by valid data. Brian also dismissed speculation that the meeting discussed the establishment of Universitas Republik Indonesia. In addition to Brian, Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Roeslani and BP BUMN head Dony Oskaria also attended.
