President Donald Trump is moving ahead with plans to hold seven UFC cage fights on the White House South Lawn as part of celebrations for the United States' 250th anniversary. The temporary arena, known as “The Claw,” has been erected on the grounds ahead of the event, which also coincides with Trump’s 80th birthday. The White House has framed the spectacle as part of a broader anniversary push that includes a rally on the National Mall and an IndyCar race on Washington streets.
