Febrie denies taking Rp50 billion from Tan Kian in Asabri case

Investigators also asked about Febrie's Sentul house, which Hotman Paris Hutapea said had been out of his control since 2022.

Former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah denied accusations that he received more than Rp50 billion from property businessman Tan Kian in the corruption case involving PT Asabri. The denial was delivered when Febrie was questioned as a suspect by investigators from the Kejaksaan Agung in Jakarta on Friday, according to his lawyer, Hotman Paris Hutapea. Hotman said the alleged flow of money from Tan Kian was one of 18 questions from investigators, and Febrie answered that he had never received any money. Investigators also examined Febrie's private house in Sentul, Bogor. According to Hotman, the house had no longer been under Febrie's control since 2022 and was used by Don Ritto. Antara reported that Febrie's suspect status was first set by Polri investigators before the handling of the case was transferred to the Kejaksaan Agung.
