Istana has not received replacement proposal for Febrie as Jampidsus
Rudi Margono is now acting chief, while a permanent appointment must await a presidential decree based on the Jaksa Agung's proposal.
Istana has not received a proposal for a replacement for Febrie Adriansyah as Jaksa Agung Muda Tindak Pidana Khusus. State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi said a permanent Jampidsus must be appointed by President Prabowo Subianto through a presidential decree, based on a proposal from Jaksa Agung ST Burhanuddin. Because the proposal had not arrived as of Monday (13/7/2026), the Jampidsus post could not be filled on a permanent basis. After Febrie stepped down on Saturday (11/7/2026), Kejaksaan Agung named Rudi Margono acting chief through Order of the Jaksa Agung Number PRINT-76/A/JA/07/2026. Prasetyo stressed that Febrie's resignation did not require a presidential decree because it was a personal decision. Febrie was previously named a suspect in alleged corruption and money laundering cases together with Don Ritto.
