Komisi III DPR forms Panja to monitor Febrie Adriansyah case
The group will track questioning, searches and any further suspect designations in the Polri-led corruption probe.
Komisi III DPR RI formed a working committee to oversee the handling of the corruption case involving former Jampidsus Febrie Adriansyah. The decision was taken at a special meeting at the DPR Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Saturday and was approved by all factions. Komisi III chairman Habiburokhman said the panja will monitor the process from questioning and searches to any possible designation of additional suspects so law enforcement remains transparent and in line with regulations. Separately, Kortastipidkor Polri said investigators had questioned 15 witnesses and two experts, and carried out a number of searches before the case review. The three cases under investigation include suspected corruption in coal procurement, the PT ASABRI case, and the settlement of PT Caturbangun Sarana's debt to PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia.
