Polda Metro hands Don Ritto, evidence to Kejagung
The transfer took place Friday afternoon under tight Brimob escort, including suitcases and container boxes of evidence.
The Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya turned over suspect Don Ritto and evidence in an alleged corruption and money laundering case to Kejaksaan Agung in Jakarta on Friday afternoon. The evidence was transported at about 13.39 WIB in a vehicle escorted by Brimob Polda Metro Jaya officers, before Don Ritto was handed over from the Polda Metro Jaya detention center at about 13.48 WIB. Several Brimob personnel carrying long-barreled weapons were also deployed outside the evidence storage room, accompanied by Provos officers and investigators. Polda Metro Jaya public relations chief Budi Hermanto had earlier said the transfer would take place after Friday prayers.
