Progress on the Velodrome-Manggarai line has reached 95 percent, extending the route to 12.2 km with 11 stations.
The free access applies to all holders of Indonesian ID cards, while MRT Jakarta will charge a special Rp1 fare on those three days.
The city says public transit connectivity has reached 93%, but regular ridership remains below 30%.
